We don't stay in one place: we take the salsa scene to different spots around the city — from Studio Imperio to Lima Resto-Bar, and Pub Universitaire and other partner venues. You don't need a partner or previous experience; our community rotates partners in every class and every event, so you'll always have someone to dance with.
Many "Latin parties" in Quebec blend salsa with reggaeton, pop, and sounds that have little to do with real Latin music. At Pachangueros we do the opposite: only original salsa brava and classic merengue, the music that wrote the history of the genre.

No. Most of our students and attendees come alone. We rotate partners constantly in classes and events, so you'll always have someone to dance with from minute one.
Not at all. We have levels from complete beginner (Level 1) to advanced footwork. Most people who sign up have never danced salsa before.
Classes are at Studio Imperio (2323 Galvani, suite 130, Quebec City). La Salsoteca and other events rotate between this studio and partner venues around the city — each event lists its exact location.
Because we don't mix salsa with reggaeton or other unrelated genres. We only play original salsa brava and classic merengue — the music exactly as its artists wrote it.
